Viking Electronics sets the standard for ADA* Compliant emergency phones with built-in digital voice announcer.

The 1600A Series telephones provide fast, reliable hands-free communication on any standard analog telephone line or phone system . Meeting all ADA requirements for elevator and emergency telephones, these devices are easily programmed from any touch tone phone. The 1600A Series phones can store up to five emergency numbers plus two central station numbers. Some models also offer the ability to dial three additional non-emergency numbers.

• Can be programmed to automatically deliver a digital announcement to identify the location of the emergency call  
• May be set up to deliver a DTMF Touch Tone code  
• A "call connected" LED can be initiated manually or automatically  
• All programming parameters, phone numbers, and location numbers are stored in non-volatile memory

Designed to be used in commercial, industrial, or residential elevators, the K-1500 Emergency Phones provide reliable handset or hands-free emergency communication. Both models can be connected directly to a C.O. line or analog station when used in conduction with a hot-line dialer or pgrammed ring down circuit.

When the button is pressed, the K-1500-EHFA will come off hook until its intelligent call progress detection automatically hangs it up, during which time the user converses hands free. You may choose to include a standard handset with the K-1500-E, if desired.
