Alarm Center Solutions

Visual Verification of Alarms
The alarms generated by intruder alarm systems at remote
sites are sent to Alarm Receiving Centers over telephone
lines or IP networks. At the receiving center, alarms appear
as text lines on the operator´s display. However, the operator
does not really know what has happened at the target site.

With Mirasys RMC, it is now possible to open a connection to
the site and see from recorded footage what has triggered
the alarm. Playback of remotely recorded audio files is also
possible. Simultaneously, a real-time camera window reveals
the current situation at the site. This helps the operator to
choose the right response to the alarm, for example, to
send a guard or contact the police.

Remote Camera Guarding Tours
It is costly to maintain nightly guard visits at your facility's
sites. Mostly, there is nothing to report, and burglars simply
wait for the guards to leave.

Part of the guarding rounds can be substituted by remote
camera guarding tours utilizing Mirasys RMC. This results in
a substantial cost savings both for users and providers of
security services. With Mirasys RMC, virtual guarding tours
can be pre-programmed and started with just one click of
the mouse. An unlimited number of fixed or dome camera
prepositions can be added in a camera tour. The operator
can also step cameras forwards or backwards.

Integration with Alarm Receiving Software
At Alarm Receiving Centers, the remote intruder or fire alarms are shown as data lines on the screen. The operator must decide upon the response without knowing what is actually happening at the site. This can delay the process, as the guards are dispatched to the assess the situation, which may be potentially dangerous if the alarm was caused by armed burglars.

The alarm response process can be significantly enhanced and accelerated by integrating alarm receiving software with digital CCTV. The insertion of Mirasys Camera Component into the software enables the operator to open a real-time camera window from the site and retrieve the recording to see the cause of the alarm with just a click of the mouse.
