Mirasys RMC - Surveillance as a Service

Visual Verification of Alarms
The alarms generated by intruder alarm systems at remote sites are sent to a monitoring center over telephone lines or IP networks, where they appear as text lines on the operator´s display. However, the operator does not really know what has happened at the target site.
With Mirasys RMC, the operator opens a connection to the site, views recorded footage, and sees exactly what triggered the alarm. Simultaneously, a real-time camera window reveals the current situation at the site. This helps the operator choose the appropriate response, for example, send a guard or contact the police.
Programmable Remote Camera Guarding Tours
Nightly guard rounds can be costly and most of the time there is nothing to report. And guard patrols are rarely a strong deterrent to a determined burglar, who simply waits for the guards to leave before moving onto the site.
At least part of the rounds can be replaced with Mirasys RMC remote camera guarding tours. This means substantial cost savings for end-users and new business for providers of security services.
The Camera Tour tool of Mirasys RMC 2.0 and newer allows an operator to perform an entire tour with just one click of the mouse. Fixed cameras, dome cameras, or dome camera prepositions can be added to a tour. Each camera is displayed in a predefined time period. The camera tour can be run once or repeated until stopped. The operator can pause the tour, continue it, or move to the next / previous camera. If desired, the tour can also be operated manually.
