Mirasys RMC Tools

The Mirasys Remote Management Center (RMC) includes a
set of easy-to-use tools that facilitate system management.
Because these tools are network-based, they can be started
on any computer in the RMC network.

Easiness with User Profiles - RMC Profile Manager
A profile defines everything a user can do with the RMC Workstation. It includes a list of the DVRs/NVRs from which
alarm event messages are received, as well as a list of cameras and other devices accessible to users assigned that profile. User rights are separately defined for each camera to allow real-time viewing, playback, or data export (copying or printing). A profile must be assigned to each user; the same profile can be
assigned to multiple users.

RMC Server verifies each user upon login and sends the relevant service profile to the workstation. RMC Workstation opens user interface windows according to the assigned profile.

RMC Profile Manager creates and manages user profiles and accounts for Mirasys RMC. All profiles and user lists are stored at RMC Server.

DVR/NVR Connections Management  - RMC System Manager and System Service
RMC System Manager is a browser-based system management tool that serves as the user interface for the RMC Server. It is used for editing the connections to DVRs/NVRs and setting the trial period for data link activation. With the System Manager, the settings of remote DVRs/NVRs can be changed. System Manager is installed in RMC Server and can be opened on any PC in the RMC network. An administrator-level password is required to start System Manager.

RMC System Service acts like a system "watchdog" as it checks the operation of and the connections to each DVR/NVR in the system and notifies the administrator if a failure is detected.

Versatile Reports - RMC Reporting Tool
An important part of RMC Server is the SQL database where incoming event messages, as well as user, event and error logs, are stored.

Information is easily retrieved from the database with RMC Reporting. It allows the user to generate reports for invoicing, payroll, or planning of operations, using either predefined or custom-created report templates.
