Mirasys RMC Workstation

RMC Workstation is the graphical user interface of the RMC system. Up to ten RMC workstations can be connected to each RMC Server. The operator can access cameras, other devices, and executable programs using the Site Navigator list or Site Map Graphics. RMC Workstation includes tools for managing alarm events. Windows are resizable and can be freely positioned on the screen.

Easy to Use and Learn
There's no need for staff to endure long training sessions to master old-fashioned commands or codes. RMC Workstation uses an intuitive, clear, and user-friendly graphical interface that ensures a swift learning curve.

User-defined Desktop
With the Layout Manager, each user can create custom-defined desktop views. Cameras can be added from DVRs/NVRs or other components, such as site maps and I/O devices, into these views. Alarm messages and pop-up camera windows from pre-programmed DVRs/NVRs open automatically on the screen. All cameras at a site or sub-site (floor, building, etc.) can be opened with just one click of the mouse.

Fast and Easy Connection to Remote Sites
Users can connect to a remote camera or other device through the Site Navigator list or Site Map, where devices appear as icons. With a few mouse clicks, a camera window, audio playback window, or Advanced Search Tool opens on the screen.

The Advanced Search Tool incorporates three familiar Mirasys DINA system search methods: graphical activity, motion, and time/date. For audio, a time/date and graphical activity search are available.

Remote Control of Dome Cameras
Easily target or zoom a remote dome camera with the mouse by clicking controls in the camera window. Preset dome positions can be programmed on the Site Navigator list - the chosen view opens with a few mouse clicks. Dome cameras can also be controlled with an external keyboard/joystick device.

Efficient Alarm Event Management
Alarm event messages from DVRs/NVRs display in RMC Workstation's alarm list. As soon as an alarm is generated, a camera window with real-time video or recorded image can be programmed to open automatically on the screen. The operator can edit alarm messages by adding comments or changing the status of the alarm.
