Mirasys V SMS Service runs on one of the DVRs ("Master DVR"). It controls overall system operation, data communication between DVRs and workstations, maintains user and profile lists, authenticates and authorizes users and applications, as well as maintains system logs and diagnostics.
This service uses Mirasys V System Manager as its user interface. It can be installed on any computer in the surveillance network. The system is configured and DVR settings are modified through the System Manager. User accounts and profiles are also created and managed through System Manager.
System Manager User Interface
The user interface of Mirasys V System Manager uses the familiar Windows application layout. All windows are moveable and sizeable. Toolbars with icons and drop-down menus are available for the operator.
