Secure Multi-Disk Recording
Mirasys V series introduces a secure multi-disk recording. In this modified RAID 0 recording, format images and audio recordings are divided between disk units in short sequences. In case of disk failure, the system automatically ignores the faulty unit and records only on the functioning hard disks. This ensures that minimum data is lost.

Data Authentication
Recorded data is authenticated with a watermarking procedure. Any tampering, including data alteration and deletion, is observed and the system operator is notified.

System Diagnostics
System Diagnostics are used to follow the state of the system and its components. The diagnostics systems logs the principal data of the PC as well as the software process.

System diagnostics includes a performance scanner, showing the CPU, memory and network usage for each system component, as well as total hard disk consumption.

Software-Based System Watchdog
Mirasys V series includes a watchdog to help the system recover from and inform the user of unexpected events. This is done by email notification to one or several email addresses.

Profile & User Management
User rights are defined in profiles. They show the components the user has access to on the Navigator. Profiles contain devices connected to the recorders, such as cameras, audio devices, digital inputs and outputs, video outputs, external programs and alarms.

Applications and users are authenticated before granting access to the recorder, matching to a unique user name and password combination. Mirasys V series provides three levels of user accounts.
