Account Executive

Location: Concord, California
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Sales Manager

About Us

PAC Integrations, Inc. designs and installs defense-grade security systems for clients who expect precision, reliability, and results. Since 1982, we’ve built our reputation on craftsmanship, discipline, and trust delivering custom systems that give our clients freedom from worry.

About the Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Account Executive to serve as the face of our company to distinguished, high-end clients and commercial accounts. The ideal candidate combines professional polish with deep integrity and the organizational discipline to manage complex sales cycles from first contact through close.

Key Qualifications

  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times, with natural charisma and the ability to connect genuinely with clients
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, adapting fluidly between executive decision makers and technical stakeholders
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven, managing multiple relationships and commitments with ease
  • Solid technical aptitude — comfortable interpreting specifications, collaborating with engineers, and translating complex solutions into clear business value
  • Experience in a technical industry such as engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technology strongly preferred

Capabilities

  • Negotiation: Navigates complex deal structures while protecting company interests and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable with technical concepts and terminology, able to read and contribute to proposals and communicate credibly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic Thinking: Identifies long-term opportunities within accounts, develops growth plans, and manages pipeline with discipline and CRM precision
  • Diligence: Consistently hits activity and revenue targets, follows through on commitments, and maintains the work ethic and persistence our clients and team depend on
  • Organization & CRM Discipline: Keeps meticulous records in our CRM system — no exceptions, no pushback. Understands that clean data and disciplined process are the foundation of a high-performing sales operation
  • Self-Starter: Thrives with autonomy, manages time across prospecting, meetings, and internal collaboration, and delivers results consistently without close supervision
  • Collaborative: Executes clean, professional hand-offs to our operations team, ensuring clients experience a seamless transition from sale to delivery. Sees collaboration with internal teams as a core part of the job, not an afterthought
  • Executive Communication: Adapts style fluidly from presenting technical proposals to an engineering team to making a business case at the C-suite level

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new clients (approximately 10–20% of time), including research, strategic outreach, and relationship building with key decision makers
  • Develop and refine technical proposals in close collaboration with the engineering team, serving as the bridge between client needs and internal capabilities
  • Manage ongoing client relationships as the primary point of contact, ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and beyond
  • Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and industry events with professionalism and excellence
  • Consistently hit monthly and quarterly activity and revenue targets, maintaining the diligence and follow-through our clients and leadership depend on
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM system at all times — logging activity, tracking pipeline stages, and forecasting with precision. CRM discipline is a non-negotiable part of this role
  • Execute clean, professional hand-offs to the operations team at the close of each sale, ensuring clients experience a seamless transition from contract to delivery and that no details fall through the cracks
  • Collaborate actively with internal teams like engineering, operations, and leadership; contributing to a culture of shared accountability and continuous improvement

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 (based on experience)
  • On-target earnings: $150,000–$180,000
  • Uncapped commission structure tied directly to individual revenue quota
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
